Norwich, Peterborough and Derby News

Norwich, Peterborough and Derby

Today sees the last day for Mo’s placement at Da Vinci Academy in Derby where he has supported in the Maths dept since Christmas. An absolute hit with the staff and students, I have mentioned before that Mo has the most upbeat way about him and has  brought that positivity into school with him every single day.  His head of department said he’s been an ‘absolute gem’ and as I’m writing this before 3pm I would not be surprised to hear that they’ve not actually let him leave the building! Have a great summer, Mo and best of luck!

Carla’s Top 10 Tunes

It’s a big fat Yipiyap ‘THANK YOU’ to Carla for providing the music for us to feast our ears on this week! Carla confessed it took much deliberation and lots of playlist adding and deleting to get to this top 10 and was surprisingly hard to decide on just 10 songs. If only I got £1 everytime one of you said that!!! The last two songs are a nod to Carla’s amazing Nan who sounded like quite a lady! American Pie is a family favourite and has been belted out in her nan’s garden many a time, and apparently she always loved a bit of Queen so Carla could not resist getting some Freddie in there!

Thanks Carla for such a thoughtful and fab selection! Enjoy everyone!

Have a great weekend everyone and can’t wait to see you at the FFF tomorrow!!

Catherine

I will bring positivity into school by greeting everyone with a smile.

I will be proactive, looking for ways to help teachers and students and asking for help if I need it.

I’m a role model and will show children how to conduct themselves.

I will be professional at all times, respect staff and value the responsibilities I am given.

There will be times when I make mistakes but I will never stop learning!
