Well, what a rare treat we had with the glorious weather over the Bank Holiday! It was so nice to be out and about without thermals! I did manage to get in the garden and we had the anticipated BBQ so my goals for the weekend (albeit set at rather low bar!) were achieved!!
Hope you have all had a great week and are looking forward to what looks like a very sunny Bank Holiday! I hope you all have something nice lined up and are going to make the most of the great outdoors.
The update this week is coming from me (Anne) as Catherine is out in the Yipiyap tour bus visiting Hull and Derby at the back end of the week to put prospective hopeful tutors through their paces at interview.
Yeh! The Weekly Update is finally back to kick start your Friday evening! It feels like ages since the last one! I hope that you have all had a great break and are now geared up for the last term at school and with Yipiyap.
The great thing about January is that we will all start to see the nights getting lighter and everyone is motivated with New Year’s resolutions and goals for the year ahead! So, hopefully you have all opened your account in 2018 with enthusiasm and motivation to make this year a brilliant one and achieve everything you have set out to do!
It was around this time last year that I interviewed many of you for your positions with us here at Yipiyap and what really struck me was just how clear your hopes and goals were for the coming year- you all had a real purpose.
Well, at the start of the week I really thought I was going to be able to kick off the update with a bit of a ‘Spring is finally here and the sun is shining’ kind of slant but given the snow yesterday I’ll give this topic a body swerve!
Holy moley, what a week it has been! The Beast from the East meets Storm Emma and everything in between. Thanks to all of you for soldiering on, braving the elements and getting to school wherever possible! It is supposed to be warming up slightly over the weekend but just keep safe (if you are out and about) and warm.
Hope you have all had a great week, whether it’s been the first back at school or one sprawled on the sofa watching Cash in the Attic. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, Spring is on its way and most importantly it’s payday weekend!!!
How are you? Really well I hope and looking forward to your extremely well deserved half term! You have all worked so incredibly hard, battling in through the cold weather armed with Lemsip and just making it all happen at school! It’s a real testament to you and having the ability to rise to a challenge really bodes well for your futures!
